EOSS operation system

•   Check safety button is on “1” position
•   Switch on “POWER” button (After switching on  green led is lighting)
•   Power on video control recorder(VCR) and switch on to “AUX” mode
•   System monitor display colour video and lower left corner of the display indicate blink “C” letter
•   Press “CAL” key of the system key board to start the  EOSS system calibration
•   After complete the calibration system can operate

Switching off EOSS system

•   IR Camera should be at “OFF” position
•   Press “HOME” key of the key board to zeroing  the system
•   Press power on switch in to the “OFF” position
•   Power off video control recorder
•   Turn safety manual switch in to the “O” position
•   Turn off the main power supply switch

IR camera switching

•   Long Press “IR” key of the system key board
•   Display shows “IR CAMERA SWITCH ON  ? ”  and then press “OK” key of the key board
•   Then display unit automatically changed TV mode display to night mode display
•   It take few minutes to switch on IR camera
•   Switching off to IR camera long press of’IR”key display shows the “IR CAMERA OFF ?” then press”OK” key to off IR camera

Instruments  and tools for maintenance

special tools

•   CIoth cotton; 
•   neutral product for the units cleaning; 
•   soft cloth (antiscratch); 
•   liquid product for the lenses cleaning.

Scheduled maintenance

•   The optronic system SEA SCOUT/S has no  mechanical organs subject to wear, thanks to uses of solid state sensors and direct drive brush less motors.                          
•   Therefore,  the electrical and mechanical parts, are not foreseen of the activities of preventive maintenance.
•   Activate the safety switch before to come near the stabilized turret
•   Clean the units; for the cleaning, use cloths and neutral products, avoiding water jets forced and or direct
•   clean the frontal lenses of the payload using the soft cloth (antiscratch) and liquid products  suitable to the cleaning of treated optical lenses
•   Avoid to point the payloads directly towards the sun For prolonged time
•   Restore the protection cap of the frontal lens of  the thermal camera ,when this is not used
